Chestnut Hill Therapy specializes in the mental health care for women, with a focus on eating disorders.  We provide outpatient virtual psychotherapy using a HIPAA-compliant and confidential platform.  Each treatment journey is unique to the individual. We blend a deep understanding of the complexities of eating disorders with evidence-based techniques and treatments.

Virtual therapy (telehealth) is available to those located throughout the states of Massachusetts and New Hampshire. The focus of care is guided by each persons individual goals and circumstances and informed by evidenced-based practices.

  • Eating disorder take over so many pieces of your life, and often the biggest fear in recovery isn’t the damage the ED can do, but rather the fear of living without it.  Eating disorders often give a false sense of safety and security while slowly chipping away at your health and your life.  We will work together to understand your eating disorder and find new ways to cope and heal.  Recovery is a journey but it’s possible and worth it!

  • Life is messy and hard.  Juggling relationships, children, a career … it’s easy to lose yourself in the day to day craze.  It can feel lonely trying to manage it all while always feeling like you’re three steps behind.  Wherever you are though is ok and we can’t force you to be in any other place.  We will work together to find peace and acceptance in the chaos of life while finding new ways to manage the stress and anxiety that come along with that.

  • As we parent our children, we have the opportunity to reparent ourselves.  Explore and understand your own childhood and how that informs your parenting style – accept what is working and change what isn’t!  As a mom of 3 myself, I understand the challenges in the journey and am here to support you.

  • These difficulties will often go hand in hand.  Do you find yourself sad and overwhelmed?  Are you constantly thinking about all of the “what-ifs”?  Having to walk yourself through each and every step of a process to ensure that you get it right, but then get so overwhelmed and caught up in the thoughts that nothing actually comes of it?  Therapy can help.  Starting by understanding and embracing who you are and how you think will allow us to find new ways of combating the emotional barriers you experience.
